Subject: Request for Partnership and Guest Speaker Invitation for Webinar Dear Office of Community Affairs,
I am writing on behalf of Worship Life Ministries Center in Baltimore, in collaboration with our national partner, AAF Foreclosure Prevention Advocates, to express our interest in becoming a direct community organization partner with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Our organizations are focused on providing support to individuals and families facing financial challenges, such as foreclosure, debt collection, and other financial hardships.
We serve as a conduit for people to access the services and resources they need to resolve these issues. Importantly, we do not charge for our services—we simply refer individuals to the right agencies and support systems, ensuring that they receive timely and effective assistance.
Recognizing that government agencies such as the CFPB are often overwhelmed with the volume of cases and inquiries, we believe that we can be a strategic community partner in helping mediate and close consumer issues, particularly those that can be resolved at the local level.
By doing so, we aim to reduce the backlog for your agency and assist in ensuring that consumer complaints are addressed swiftly and effectively. However, we acknowledge that some cases may require the intervention of federal agencies like the CFPB.
Therefore, we are requesting to establish a direct line of communication or a designated contact within your agency who can help guide us when cases exceed our capacity or require additional support.
This will allow us to work collaboratively with the CFPB to ensure that vulnerable consumers receive the support they need and that their issues are resolved promptly. Webinar Invitation: In addition, we would like to invite a CFPB representative, such as the Director or a senior member of the agency’s team, to be a guest speaker at an upcoming webinar hosted by our organizations.
The webinar would provide invaluable information and education to our network of community partners and the people we serve, focusing on consumer rights, foreclosure prevention, debt collection practices, and how the CFPB can assist with these issues.
We would be honored to host a webinar featuring the CFPB, allowing our audience to hear directly from your leadership team about how consumers can protect themselves and resolve financial disputes. •
Proposed Date/Time: [Insert Date/Time] • Topic Focus:
Consumer protections, foreclosure prevention, and how the CFPB assists in mediating financial disputes. We believe that this collaboration would benefit both the CFPB and our communities, helping consumers access services more efficiently while also easing the burden on government agencies.
We would be grateful if someone from your office could meet with us virtually or in person to discuss this partnership further and how we can work together to serve consumers more effectively.
We are eager to build a strong relationship with the CFPB and believe that our combined efforts can significantly improve outcomes for the people we serve.
Thank you for considering our request.
We look forward to the opportunity to work together in addressing the needs of consumers and to discussing how we can support the CFPB’s mission in the community.
Sincerely,
Worship Life Ministries Center Baltimore, MD, AAF Foreclosure Prevention Advocates (National Partner)
